Rules and Regulations
To ensure a positive and respectful environment for all, we ask that you please review and adhere to the following rules and regulations:
Respect for All
Treat all participants, staff, volunteers, and visitors with dignity and respect. This includes camp staff, other guests of the camp, and any animals you may encounter. Refrain from any behavior that could be perceived as harassing, discriminatory, or offensive, including unwelcome physical contact, inappropriate language, and any form of intimidation or aggression.
Consent
Always obtain explicit consent before engaging in any physical contact with another person, even if it seems non-sexual in nature. Respect personal boundaries and be mindful of others' comfort levels.
Recovery Space
This is a recovery event. The expectation is that participants will not bring or use any non-prescribed drugs or alcohol.
Confidentiality
Respect the privacy of others. What is shared during the retreat, including stories, remains within the retreat community. Please be mindful that this is a private event, and some people may not want their photos taken or shared publicly.
Community Living
Be considerate of others in shared spaces. Keep noise levels down, especially at night, as the walls are thin. Maintain cleanliness in common areas and clean up after yourself. Be mindful of your roommates. This is a spiritual retreat where people may be sleeping, reading, praying, or meditating. Please be respectful of others and maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the rooms.
Personal Belongings
Lambda Recovery Weekend is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Please keep track of your belongings. If you find an item that isn't yours, please turn it in to a board member.

Please arrive between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM on Friday. You may use the parking area close to Blum Lodge for loading and unloading. However, after you have unloaded, please park in the lot farther back by the camp office.
Check-in
Check-in will be in the Blum Lodge recreation area between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM. If you arrive after 5:30 PM, please find a board member to check in.
Safety First
Follow all safety guidelines provided by Lambda Recovery Weekend board members. Be mindful of your surroundings and report any accidents or concerns to a board member immediately. Board members will be wearing blue t-shirts with "Volunteer" on them.
Right to a Safe Environment
Lambda Recovery Weekend reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the retreat if their behavior is disruptive, threatening, violent, or violates these rules and regulations. This includes any form of harassment, aggression, or behavior that endangers the safety or well-being of others. If you are asked to leave, we are not able to provide transportation or a refund.
Conflict Resolution
If any issues arise, please bring them to the attention of a Lambda Recovery Weekend board member. Board members are here to support you and help resolve conflicts peacefully and respectfully.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome at the Lambda Recovery Weekend retreat. Please be mindful of their important work and refrain from petting or distracting them while they are working (wearing their vest). If you have any questions about interacting with a service animal, please ask their handler.
Use of Likeness
By attending Lambda Recovery Weekend, you grant permission to the organization to use your image and likeness in photographs and videos taken during the event for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have your photo taken, please inform a board member.
